LEON THOMSON has been entertaining his audiences close-up, on stage and on screen for well over a decade as a professional performer!

LEON became interested in magic when he was 5 years old. Born and bred in North London. At the age of 10 LEON's mum found a flyer for the The Young Magicians Club (The Magic Circle youth initative) where he went along and trained his skills.

LEON at 18 became a member of The Magic Circle after a performance exam!

 

LEON's career took off after a grand illusion at the age of 16 that was caught on camera went viral (walking through a locked glass door). Because of this LEON was invited to perform on Nickelodeon TV where LEON was on The London Eye with celebrities making this his first TV appearance as a 16 year old!

Since then LEON has made The Rock of Gibraltar Disappear, making this one of the worlds biggest landmarks to vanish Live on a TV channel, this was part of his own produced half hour Magic Travel show 'LEON's Gibraltar Special'. This self-funded film was placed in worldwide TV show 'Magic Caught on Camera'. WATCH HERE

As well as magic, LEON loves to play table tennis, competing and coaching at a very high level and has combined this with his skills as a magician to fascinate audiences at the World Championship at half time shows and walking around doing close-up magic around the venues, wowing players and fans and getting amazing reactions from stars.

Because of this a documentary was made for the Table Tennis England website all about LEON mixing his two passions and having such a unique career! WATCH HERE

LEON's live show Table Tennis is Magic got a top review at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (2022) by FringeReview as Exciting Work 'genius and unique'. Read the review.

China Times Media Group wrote in the press that LEON's show was the 'one program that stood out' after they saw him perform at the Fringe. Read their article here.

In 2023 LEON performed on stage in Las Vegas making his childhood dream come true and in 2025 LEON appeared on ITV's prime time show called YouBet on Tour! Making a sandwich whilst playing table tennis in front of celebrities at the Olympic Park!​

LEON's adaptability in any environment makes him a very exciting talent.
